After my work, rush down to Esplanade to meet Ling Jen and Pui. Want to thank them for the sacrifice. The dance performance was so last minute and they stood in the gap and sacrifice their time and put in effort into this performance. A BIG thank you!

I was late for the prac, I’m the last to reach. Think it’s been a long time since we last prac dance. We’re so restless. Dance once and we rested 10mins.. hee.. Wanted to use dance to slim down, but don’t have strength to train myself. Sob.. lack determination.

After a while a guy came over and talked to us. He said he is a writer in India, was interested in what we’re doing and said he wanted to write an article about us. Then he sat down and talk. He said he just spent Christmas at Malaysia, and he just came to Singapore last night. He said he has been traveling around the world, writing articles on things that he saw wherever he went.

After sometime, realized that I’m the only one bother to entertain him. jen and ling stood up and went somewhere continue to prac dance. After that saw Bb walk over, that guy saw Bb then he walked off quietly.

We prac till about 3.30pm then we head to Bugis. We decided to walk over since it’s so near. Hee.. we reached Music Garage. To be honest, the place is much smaller than what I thought. Hee..



Anyway cheers for 2007~

Ariel’s actual birthday is 31Dec and she’s on leave, so we decided to celebrate earlier. Bought an organizer. The organizer is quite expensive. If I need an organizer, I’m not willing to pay so much for one. Hee… :D

Anyway she was really in a hyper mood, took a lot of pics that day. hee… How come Aijia use chopsticks??

Her birthday is at 31 Dec, officially year 2007 is her 20th year but she only enjoyed 1 day of 20th years old life in 2007. feeling kinda weird you know? Anyway…

Happy Birthday Ariel!

Ber and Bb discussed about what to wear for the event. Then Bb told me Ber suggested that we all dress in chracters in Deathnote. Hee.. It’s quite fun. But the back of my mind I was guessing that other leaders will not be as supportive in dressing up.

Anyway I dress up like Misa. Hee.. Valor dress like Light’s Dad, Bb dress up like L and Ber dress gothic.

Reached the place, almost none really dress up like characters. Feel so weird. Anyway we played some games and we ordered food to eat. Ber need to leave early but she has ordered the food, then Bb and Valor helped her to eat and foot the meal.

Reached home quite late, almost 12mn. But I enjoyed myself. :D

Before I start sharing what wonderful things has happened, I want to thank all the friends and family members that has given me tremendous support for this period of time. Without all of you, I don’t think I can make it through.


Everything starts at BBG. I was informed that church is starting a Christmas Bazaar during Christmas. My first thought was, ‘argh, just forget about it. It’s Christmas weekend, where got time to look after it. even if have time, also no time to prepare stocks, takes up too much time.’ Another thought came to me is that I could never sell anything out.


So that day went BBG with Bb, BBG talked about having a confidence in God. During the ending part of the CG, felt God speaking to me that I should take part in this Christmas Bazaar. From there, I will have rewards beyond my expectations.


At first I doubted whether is this the voice of God. But faith arises within me, then I shared with Bb after BBG that I want to join the Christmas Bazaar.


I remembered Michelle, who’s doing hand made accessories. I asked her whether she wants to join me and share the rental. Thank God for her, my rental cost was reduced by half.


I wanted to sell hand painted caps. At first I wanted to paint a lot of patterns, but due to time constraints, I only focus on splash paints.


First, I went to the Cap supplier to get caps. Although the price is still quite ex, but I bought 32 pieces at one go. I thought to myself, it’s a trial run, so buy 32 should be enough. And I paint the caps really slowly, only painted 15 for the first day of sale.


Here are some of the pictures that I have taken when Bb came over to my house and help me paint. This is the first time Bb painted caps, and he did really well. And wanna thank Bb for helping me and push me to paint more.


Before I start the stall, Jen met me at hall 7. She helped me out to do the set up. After that Bb came over to help too. Want to thank Jen for helping also, really appreciate it. Felt quite bad that I didn’t give her Christmas present on time. Thank God for a friend like her. Jen also helped in selling stuff for me, and she’s really good. She also help me jio a lot of her usher friends to come to my stall to look at my caps and quite a lot bought the caps! :D

To my surprise, the sale is much better than expected. I was overjoyed. More than half of the caps are sold off for the first day. I’m also feeling quite nervous at the same time. What about the next day? Sell what?


Bb suggested that I go his house to stay overnight, so that he can help me to paint also. My first thought was that I don’t want to disturb Bb, he’s quite tired from all the working. But I thought about it, if I go home and paint, I sure cannot paint enough for the next day, one more hand would be better. So I decided to go Bb house for the night.


We went to Giant first to get some drinks and tidbits, then I went home to take the caps, paint and painting materials then take cab to Bb’s house. When I reached is already about 1am in the morning. We went to the staircase there and paint. The floor was full of paint, opps.. hee.. Wait till about 4am. Then Bb called Macdonald delivery. We waited for 1 hour for the person to come. When that guy came, I was taking the caps back to the house and Bb was in the kitchen settling some stuff. The house door was left wide open, and that guy knew I saw him. And when I pass by him I told him to hold on for a moment.


Then that delivery man made the cleverest thing; he pressed the doorbell in the wee hours of the morning!! Crazy right? And Bb’s house doorbell was those super loud kind. Then Bb went out and scold him that why he need to press the stupid doorbell when the door is already open. It’s not that we didn’t know he’s there.


Then that delivery man gave the very indifferent tone said that I saw him and I didn’t bothered about him. Thinking about him makes me agitated, he gave me such a bad impression about Macdonald’s delivery. Next time I will think twice if I want to make an order. I rather cook myself than to pay delivery charge and get this kind of stupid attitude.


Anyway, we paid for the food. Gave him a $50 dollar note. And this is the first time in my life that I got so much coins change at one go. That guy gave me one handful of coins lah, and is those 10cents and 5cents kind. OMG… faint.


We started eating, that time I was feeling really tired already. One point of time almost doze off while eating. Hee..


Then after that Bb was resting at the sofa and I go to the toilet to blow dry the caps. By then I was really dozing off. One point of time I really doze off and I drop the hairdryer on the paint! OMG! Lucky the hairdryer didn’t get paint stain. Hee.. and the cap look alright. The feeling was terrible.


After I blow dry, I wake Bb up and ask him to help me hang the caps up to dry.


Finally we get to rest at 6am. Phew..


Next morning need to wake up at 9plus, cause need to report expo at 11am. Was feeling really tired sia. The caps have not totally dried yet, so we shifted the caps to have some sunlight while we go change our clothes and get ready to go out.


We took a cab to expo, Bb need to meet jia wei for service. Then I stayed at the bazaar area there to set up stall. Phew.. Hall 7 was super cold. Makes me hungry very easily. Anyway the service ended and starts selling. 2nd day’s sales is not as good as first day. But a lot of big shots come and pass by the stall. Saw Elim Chew and Qiu Ru, they saw the caps, I was really happy that the response was good. Then after that, saw one of the church staff. She saw the caps, she commented that I should continue to work hard on this area. She said I could go far for this. I was really happy about it. wanted to work hard for this and to improve my skills.

Church close the bazaar early. So we left the bazaar at 4pm. We went to Tampines Mall to get new caps stock.


On Monday, I worked half day. Then after that rush to expo. Thanks Bb again for helping me to bring all the barang barang to expo. Painted the caps in the Hall itself. The paint dried up very fast, so after the service is over, most of the caps are dried already.


While waiting for time to pass, Bb and I went to play Nitendo Wii. It’s really a cool game. Played boxing, tennis, and bowling. Argh.. don’t know how to play lah.. Bb’s so good at games, all lose to him.. sob sob.. although we’re both really physically tired and the game worsen the condition (it’s a very good slimming game), but we enjoyed it a lot. :D


After that we wait for the service to end and start selling. Today’s response was not bad. Managed to sell quite abit too.


And for Christmas Day, met Charmaine for service. Bb didn’t pick up my phone at all, think he must be super tired after so many sleepless nights. Then after service I go tend the stall. I forgot to tell Michelle that some caps cannot sell, she sold off two. And one of them is reserved cap. Thank God I still have one new cap, and I remake another one for that customer.


Christmas Day is the last day that I can clear my caps, that time I was feeling quite nervous. The after service crowd almost over, and I still have lots of caps with me. I prayed a secret prayer to God, asked God to help me to clear the caps.


Then my prayers answered. Shortly after, a group of youth came and clear 5 caps at one shot! I was really amazed that God really made provision for me. Then after clearing that 5 caps, I left with quite little caps. Left with less than 10 caps. Hee.. thank God for that.

Hey hey… today’s Boxing Day!! I received a lot of presents from colleagues, so I took a before and after of almost all the presents that I have received.
