in this attachment programme.. i'm posted to Wincor-Nixdorf, Shanghai. i thank God that i've been given this opportunity to be attached to here. i really love this place. the environment is much better than i expected.
Wincor-Nixdorf, a german company, specialize in selling high quality printers, scanners, keyboards, displays, POS system, etc etc.. you must be thinking what do i mean by high quality.. hehe.. hmmm.. just give ya very simple example.. guess how much their printer cost?? 100? 200? or maybe you'll guess at most 300 rite?
one printer cost $1500 USD!
imagine.. and this is selling price, without adding tax and stuff.. haha.. so expensive sia.. their main customers are those big companies like banks..
although the things they sell doesn't appeal to me at all (too expensive for me liao la.. how to buy?? ) but when i visit the production line and the office, i felt belonged to the place. the production line is really an eye opener for me.. cause i could get to see those big machines and how big companies like them make their productions.. hehe..
the people here are very interesting.. some are very friendly, some are very helpful.. there are also some who are quite irritating at times.. hehe.. (no worries.. only a miserable few.. hehe..) i think what i love most is the time when i take the company's shuttle bus.. hehe.. it's a very fun trip.. you'll get to hear alot of things.. range from things you understand like politics to something you can't even guess like speaking shanghainese.. hehe..
it's really a good experience to work with the locals. it's really a different feeling working overseas... overall.. it's really a great exp.. love it...

really looking forward to it.. i'm real excited.. now i'm watching the praise and worship online.. haha.. i'm so happy.. last two days i didn't manage to get to watch the conference.. kinda sad.. but i'm happy.. today can watch it.. i believe that it'll be a power packed sermon.. i believe i will have new revelation of God. i believe i'll be a step closer to God after this..
i really thank God for this internet cafe, yesterday i discovered it at 10pm yesterday.. so i missed the second night.. but at least i could be a part of the finale night.. hehe..

Back in office

hehe.. after a whole week of holiday, i'm back at the office in shanghai.. hehe.. kinda tired.. yawn~~ feel like sleeping. hehe.. now still doing the project on PPV. hai~~ hope i'll finish it soon. still got a long way till knock off time.. hai~ looking forward to it.. hehe..

now i'm on the bus, leaving hang zhou le.. these whole week has been a very blessed week for me. after so many years, finally a break for me. really thank God for this opportunity. i really felt exlaxed, felt a new energy for me to move on.
this whole week, i went to Su Zhou, Wu Xi, Nan Jing, and Hang Zhou. every place has their own style, i had a different experience everywhere i go. in Su Zhou, i find that the life there is slow. Quite a nice place to live in. but if i want to choose, i still prefer Singapore. as i think that i couldn't stand it if i'm living in Su Zhou for a long period of time.. cause it's simply too slow for me. one thing special about Su Zhou is that there are alot of bicycles there. and the people there don't oil their bicycles. and everytime you'll hear a very loud squeaking sound when they want to stop their bicycles. furthermore, the sound is very high pitched and it'll hit right into your ear drums.. it really hurts.. besides the bicycles, there are alot of canels and rivers here.. this makes Su Zhou special, so beautiful.
the place is nice, but i still couldn't get use to the chinese culture here. they like to spit here. you will hardly spend a day out without spotting someone spitting in front of you. remember there's an incident, i'm taking a bus from Shi Quan Jie back to hotel, i saw a young lady, think in her late 20's, she was sitting at the window seat. i was standing next to her.. and she just spat at the floor... that's very near the seat that she was sitting.. yeww..

Golden Week

thiese few days has been very fun for me.. hehe.. went to many many places.. one of the example will be wu xi.. china is really very big.. i can get to see many things... the scenery, the culture, the food, the lifestyle.. are sooo different.
what i really remembered about is we went to the villages.. where there are only few houses around, and most of them are farmers.. and besides farmers houses.. there is no more buildings.. ey.. what i mean is that.. there is no such thing as night life in the country side.. there is no cinemas.. no entertainment.. no outings .. just their farmland and their house.. oh my.. i think the lifestyle is really very different.. i believe the pace of life is alot slower.. i think i'll not get used to it.. hehe..
there are many occasions where we went to restuarant opened by the farmers there.. and they cook their home dishes.. the unique part of their dish is that they don't emphasize on the decoration.. there is no such thing as garnish over there.. and the food that they eat are all taken from places around them.. one of the restuarant we went was besides a very big lake.. and their dishes has sea weed, special fishes found only in that lake.. some vegetable found in the nearby area.. home made toufu using the water from the lake.. so everything comes from around them.. it's feels so different.. i think i really start to love this place.. china.. it's really somewhere special in my heart...
