I got in Talentime Finals!~!~! Praise the Lord

yeah.. i'm so happy.. i went into talentime finals.. hee.. Ghetto Queens..

during wednesday.. i need to be at my shop to open the store.. then during night time.. about 8 plus.. pui message me whether amanda got inform me about the talentime or not.. i called back.. then she told me yong zhi's team and jacky's team went into finals.. so she wondering whether we can get into finals or not..

then after talking to her.. sudden;y felt very nervous.. don't knwo why.. maybe it's because i heard a lot of stories about there are 4 dance teams that is very strong.. then many times i thought that my team couldn't make it into finals.. and sometimes feel like if i don't make it into finals this time, i'll feel very sad.. cause this is the last year i could join Emerge.. (so called) then i have went into finals before.. so if this time i couldn't get it.. it's kind of 'ma lu'.. hee

so all these thoughts just came to me all of the sudden.. feeling kinda terrible.. then there was two customers walked over to my shop.. then as usual, i introduced the products to them. then one of the lady took one of the tak top from the shelves and take a look.. then after that she just throw it on the small table in front of her!!!

oh my.. she place the the shirt on my customer's shirt.. the paint is still wet!!!!

i was shocked.. and i quickly took it out.. then i was very angry that time.. feel like shouting at her.. then i took the wet shirt somewhere else.. then i took the red tank top, trying my best to take the paint out.. then she kept saying she didn't know it's not dry.. duh la.. i am very angry at that time.. maybe because i already feeling nervous.. then somemore this incident happen.. it's like kinda explode..

then after that i know my tone and facial expression just change altogether. then as i was busy wiping the paint off the red shirt.. she quickly took her things and walked off.. she said,' erm.. i'll come back later..'

i was thinking ya right.. you WILL come back.. i believe..

irritating.. didn't even offer to pay the for the shirt.. irritating.. very irritating.. anyway.. i forgive her..

then when she left.. i use red paint to try to cover the yellow patches.. it's still kinda visable after touching up.. if no body buys after business ends, i'll buy that shirt.. hee..

then after that, i continue painting the shirt.. my mood was really bad that time.. really very bad.. don't feel like talking to anyone.. don't feel like messaging anyone.. then after that, there is a call from don't know where.. but i don't know why i decided to pick up that call..

it's a lady.. she said she's from CHC.. then she ask me what's my CG, then she ask is pui man my sister.. then she ask for my sister CG too.. then after that she ask for our schools..

then after that i ask her is it regarding talentime?.. then she almost forgot to tell me that.. she said,' oh ya.. sorry.. ya.. your group are in the finals for talentime.. i've told amanda already..'

i was over joyed.. hee.. so happy.. i got in.. all the concerns, all the worries, all gone.. hee.. so happy.. hee.. i told her,' thanks for calling me.. this call is really important to me.. i've been waiting for this call for a long time.. i really couldn't control myself that time.. hee.. so happy... hee..

then she congrats me through the phone.. hee..

don't know why.. still feeling nervous that time.. but i don't care it anymore.. so happy.. i got in.. hee..

i'm gonna work hard man!

it's really funnie.. receiving this news need to go through such troubles.. i felt like i'm falling to bottomless pit and suddenly a phone call take me up to the highest mountain.. i almost cannot take it..

i thank God for that.. cause if i didn't went through the 'vallies' i'll not appreciate the joy that i could have when i am on the top of the 'mountain'

really thank God for the opportunity to be able to use my talents for Him~!

i really prayed that through us, Ghetto Queens, many people will be inspired to use their talents to shine for God~!

we're not here for fame, not for the money.. it's really for the glory of God.. really wanna shine for Him.. really wanna tell the world that being a christian can be fun, can be funky..

My birthday presents

hee..
this year i'm so happy.. so many people give me present.. hee..

first my mum bless me with a ang pow when the clock just strike 12..

then after that i go service (cause it falls on a saturday.. easter svc somemore)

then during de-briefing after service.. the whole cell group celebrated my birthday and raymond's birthday for me.. hee..

then bro valor pass me a guitar.. and he say,'nah.. give you'

he sounded very casual.. so i thought he was really joking.. i also thought to myself that no one would buy me a guitar... cause it's really very expensive.. but after that they say it's really a gift for me.. i was totally shocked.. i mind just gone blank all of e sudden.. hee..

wah.. my sister just blessed me with a guitar.. it's so expensive.. oh my.. i was really shocked..

hee.. then after that i know jennifer, kaili, and jeremy chipped in to buy the guitar too.. thanks alot~!

then that sunday if i'm not wrong, ling ling called me.. she ask me about what kind of song is nice.. then i ask her why.. then she said she want to borrow.. and she asked me what CD i have..

hmm.. it's kinda obvious.. but i not sure.. so i just replied her normally loh..

then the following week, she gave me a Hillsong United latest CD, 'United We Stand'

hee.. it's really nice.. hee.. so happy.. hee.. love that.. thanks alot Ling~! i love it alot

and this tuesday, i went for prayer meeting, then after that i went for leader's meeting at church.. then after doing all the admin, then pastor Aries announce that they are going to celebrate some people's birthday.. then Ian, Adriel, and Jacklyn celebrate the birthday together with me too .. hee.. share the joy together..

then i got the present after we sang birthday song and prayed for me.. hee..

then initially i wanted to unwrap it when i got home.. but Sharmaine ask me to open.. haha.. she's more excited than me.. haha..

then i open it and i found a billabong bag.. it's cool man~! like it alot.. hee.. Thanks!

then today before cell group, i was doing something with my com.. then kel and jacky came in.. jacky ask me to close my eyes.. (trying to be funnie huh.. i know what you are thinking.. hee)

then he pass me a box.. then they ask me to guess first.. i guess belt.. hee.. it's too easy to guess.. then after that kel say flip the box to e other side, then i saw it's 25 hours (it's a shop that sell watches)

but i still think it's belt.. so i open and saw a white puma belt.. it's really very nice..

i knew what they buying for me cause the reason is very simple.. jacky don' know how to ask question..

last sunday we having a cell group outing at orchard.. then we play amazing race.. then the prize is $120 takashimaya voucher.. then kel and jacky won the race.. then they decided to treat the cell group with food using that voucher.. then we went ajisen ramen eat.. hee.. after eating they have $20 worth of voucher each.. then after eating we just went our own ways..

then i went back to orchard mrt with some people, then jacky called me.. ask me what colour i like, white or black.. then he ask if pui wear belt, which colour suits her better.. then he ask the same for bro valor.. then he ask alot of question about black and white.. about belt..

duh.. it's so obvious.. haha

but kel and jacky.. thanks alot~! really like the belt.. hee.. it's cool.. (kel, although you denied that you used takashimaya voucher to buy that gift.. it's okay.. i know you did.. cause jacky told me.. ) haha..

anyway.. this year my birthday is so fun.. it's much more better than last year..

business is difficult

being in business is really difficult.. you only got limited time per day.. so if really matters where you want to emphasize on.

what i mean is that, for me, i need to tend the shop and being a boss at the same time. the perspective of each is different.

being an employee, i want to generate alot of sales as possible in the shop. besides that i want to give good customer service to as many people as i could.

but being a boss, i want to establish my brand and my product. i want to make my brand famous. i want to use various marketing techniques to make this happen. thus i don't have the time to tend the shop, i want to go out and do the planning and sourcing.

that's where the conflict comes in. i don't have time to do all these at one go.

initially, what i want is to have a mindset of a boss. but after months of working at the shop, i realised that what i do is an employee mindset. i couldn't find more time to go and do all the marketing. i simply don't have enough time to do all those things.

so we thought of hiring people to help tend the shop, but the school don't allow us to do that. they want us to tend the shop ourselves.

now we're tending the shop, feels like the shop is going no where big. think i really need to think of what to do...

20th birthday

apr 15 is my birthday.. but this year it's kind of special.. cause it marks a new phrase of my life.. hehe.. i'm now 20.. couldn't get used to having a '2' in front.. hehe..

and furthermore that day was Easter weekend.. hehe.. it's even more special.. hehe..

anyway.. the drama was fantastic.. hehe.. love it..

and this year.. my birthday is slightly different from the rest.. that day i didn't sleep at all.. cause that day i got 45 shirts to paint... it's a group of class t shirts.. i couldn't finish at all. i painted overnight.. thank God for Pui Man.. she stayed with me to paint together.. thank you sis!

and besides her Jennifer also painted quite a few shirts for me.. she painted till quite late also.. hehe.. very grateful.. thanks Jen!

kinda tired that day.. after that i sent the shirts to the school by cab. then after that i took the same cab back home to sleep..

during my trip back.. the group called me.. as expected, they are not satisfied with the quality i painted.. cause i don't have enough time to paint the shirts.. i only left with a about 3 days to paint the shirts.. on wed i still need to be at the shop.. that day i really don't have time no paint.. been through many sleepless nights that week..

kinda grougy after all the scoldings from my customers.. and i was quite angry la.. i couldn't get help from dorin and wei liat.. wanna take off on wed one.. cause i'm not feeling well and i still got tons of shirts couldn't finish.. but both of them are not free.

and on sat i exploded.. i messaged both of them that i'm tired.. i couldn't get help from them and i'm the only one to get all the scoldings from customers.. we're a team and yet a need to bear all these alone.. furthermore i still need to stay overnight to paint those shirts on my birthday.. yet both of them can sleep so well.. and i took cab down just to deliver the shirts for the customers.. waste time, waste effort, waste money..

wei liat ask me to rest well.. dorin apologised and ask me to rest well.

i slept about 3 hours that day..

anyway.. it's a different type of birthday i suppose.. hehe..

haha.. i could get on internet

haha.. finally.. after months of waiting .. i could get on internet le.. so happy.. hehe.. today starhub people come to connect the internet for me.. hehe.. the speed is 2k.. it's so fast as compared to the previous 56k i had..

this one is like flipping pages.. i don't need to wait for the pages to load. but previously i need to wait for ages for me to get to another page..

i'm so happy.. thank God for that blessing .. !
