Random updates…
Argh.. dance..
Next Friday is the D&D. felt so not prepared. Some of them the dance steps not familiar, music not out, don’t know what to wear. ………………… hai~~
Just now I went pantry, saw one of the prize for the D&D is a pink PSP. OMG~! I didn’t know PSP got a pink!! Hopefully I can get that pink PSP. Hee… now need to choose between PSP and iPhone. Gadgets.. hai~~
Since I started working in this new office, I’ve been updating my daily expenses. Then on Monday I decided to key in all the information into an excel spreadsheet. I got a daily breakdown of my expenses and there’s a page that listed a summary of various months. I want to save up money. Cannot keep spending away everything and no savings. I don’t know why last time I can just survive on $5 a day. Now I give myself a daily budget of $20. Seems like it’s quite difficult to even fulfill this. Maybe I spent too much or this budget is too unrealistic for a working adult. Been working here for almost 3 months (time flies), I only met my target at my first month. 2nd month I exceeded my budget many times over and for the 3rd month, I have already exceeded although the end of the month not here yet.
Now I truly understand my mum’s statement: it’s not easy to earn money.
Think that if without proper planning, money will just be gone in an instant. And I don’t want myself to come into the situation whereby I have no idea where my money went to.
I am targeting to save up $1k by the end of the year. Don’t even know whether I can have enough money for myself. Hai~~ but at least I can give myself some difficult goal to work towards to. :D if I can hit 50% of my target, I’m happy already. Cause I expected my actual should be about 10 or 20%... hee…

Today I’m staying back in office to practice dance. Meeting Stacy and Ariel. 5 mins before 6pm, I just went back to my desk, get myself some biscuit cause I’m hungry. While I was trying to open up the biscuit packaging, Bb called. He said he’s somewhere at the 13th floor.
I went out and I saw him! So nice to see him, last time I seen him was Tuesday. He’s meeting Ber they all go KBox. Heard they going to sing overnight till 6am. Haha.. if I don’t need to work tomorrow I sure will join them. Heard that they are going to meet at 7pm, then I told Bb to wait for me outside at the reception area first. I go office get my stuffs and can go out for a while.
Managed to get Ariel and Aijia to go out with me. then when we’re going out of office, Bb ask me whether I’m eating with them outside, cause he said he has food for me…
OMG~! It’s so nice~~ the food is being placed nicely in the plastic box, still warm, and could smell is oozing out of the box. Oh… Bb said he spent almost the whole day cook it. He cooked for his family and also reserves a portion for me. :D
I quickly place the food back to my desk and I go out and have a short walk with them. We went cineleisure. Aijia and Ariel bought Subway. The Subway service is bad there. Been there quite a number of times, everytime it was a very disappointing experience.
After we bought the food, we take the food back to pantry to eat. Ariel said she ordered cucumber but the person put tomato inside the sub. And I go and heat up my food. Hummmm.. Smell really nice.
I took a few pic of the food. Bb keeps on saying that the speg is not nice; he said he forgot to add salt when he cooks it at home just now. Haha.. so I tried the speg first. It’s nice. :D tomato based speg, with bacon bits and some other ingredients. In the special meal box, have tomato speg, mini carrots and mini tomatoes, ‘la la’ (clam), ‘sotong’ (squid), prawn, and bacon wrap asparagus. The food is really nice, I ate till the box really clean.
Bb really knows how to cook.. LOVE the food he made.. hee..
After that I showed him my desk, then after that I need to go change up before I start to dance. So I send Bb off to 1st level then I take the list back to 13th floor.
Stacy said she wants to have dinner first, and her dinner was super long, she came back at 8plus. By then Ariel and I are tired from all the exercising. We used the board room for practice. Ariel brought in a fan, cause after 6pm no air-con. We practice till 9.45pm then we pack up. I leave office at 10.03pm.
After that I went to cineleisure to find Bb and those who went for KBox outing. Saw Yu Shuang, Ber, Angeline, Jacky, Min Kuan and Bb. After that Jennifer joining them too. Sounds real crazy and fun to sing overnight. But got work commitment, too bad.. boo hoo..
I sit there for less than 5 mins and I need to leave. Bb sends me out. While walking to MRT station, Bb said he hungry, so we went Centrepoint there eat Mac. After eating then Bb send me to MRT station and he went back to cineleisure.

Shopping at Bugis (second round)

Went CG in the morning. After that we had lunch at a coffee shop nearby. I ate laksa. The laksa not nice one. The one below my block nicer. :D suddenly feel that it’s a blessing to live near places that has nice food.
After lunch, went with Bb to go Kallang warehouse. Help him to sort out some documents, and also sit there and watch him pack stuff. Didn’t help a lot though, the documents all done within 1-2 mins. We need to wait for the transportation to come before we can leave. We left the place at around 5plus, Bb’s friend send us to bugis. We went to Bugis street to walk around. Bb said today will be his turn to buy me gifts. In total I got a long sleeve shirt, a dress, and a tunic tank top with a matching necklace. Total cost more than $70. And add first round’s blessing, I received a big big gift of more than $100. That’s a lot. Thanks Bb~!
After that we went to Kopitiam near SMU for dinner. After dinner we go to PS to get milk and cake. The cake is for Pui’s birthday celebration.
So sian that I couldn’t think of a suitable present for Pui, the night before her birthday I inform her that her present will be a belated one. Lucky she’s agreeable to it. :D don’t wanna to be so not creative to keep giving her ang pows. Last year already given once, this year give again really not creative. So I decided to keep on searching around for nice present, if I really really really cannot get one then I give ang pows. (to Pui: hee.. no surprise for you already.. feel free to hint hint me if you have any belated birthday wish.. but it’s another thing on whether I could hear it. You know your sis have serious problems in selective hearing. Heee… bleah..
After we got what we need Bb send me back home. :D

Our 6th month anniversary.

Time flies, so fast it’s our 6month’s anniversary. Today Bb said he gonna bring me to Grand Corpthorne there eat. After work it was raining very heavily, I was so wet when I reached the Hotel. So I took a long time to dry myself while waiting for Bb to come from warehouse.
Bb wore the new shirt and jacket that I have just bought for him, it fits him really nicely. :D
We went to Pontini, a fine dining restaurant. Bb used to work there. So went we went in, he knows almost everyone. We reached the restaurant at about 7.15pm, we’re one of the first customer there. The place was really empty. I like the ambience and the deco, it’s really comfortable. I wanted to take pictures of the place and the food, but I didn’t. I should have taken the pictures, everything’s so nice there. Hai~~
We ate appetizer, is bread stick with two different sauces. And another one is a basket with various kinds of bread.
After that is a super thin crust pizza. I love the mushroom, the ham, the crust.. everything! The best thin crust pizza I ever eaten. The second in rank would be China Pizza Hut. Although the pizza look huge, but it’s very light, one person can eat the whole pizza.
After that we have pasta and also steak with goose liver. They portion the pasta into two small plates and we share the steak. The pasta got a slight tinge of sour taste at the first bite. It’s very different from what I used to eat. I like the pasta, neither too hard nor soft. The beef cubes are really tender. Reminds me on the beef cubes that I have eaten in Shanghai, it’s very tender.. yummy.. thinking about nice food makes me drool. The goose liver is nice, but it’s really oily, cannot eat too much.
To end this perfect dinner, we have desserts. By then I was really full. Got 3 types of desserts in total, one is Crème Bulee, 2nd one is a very sweet and nice dessert with chocolate sauce, 3rd one is crepe wrapped and stuffed with thick chocolate sauce. Phew.. sinful.. haha.. I enjoyed all of them! Bb’s ex-colleague made him a PINK alcoholic drink. I tried some. The first taste was awful! I don’t have the habit of taking alcohol, so I don’t really like the taste of it. After that I tried a few more sips, I get more and more acceptable.
Left the place at 9plus, after that we took a short walk around the hotel area before we took bus back to Dhoby Ghalt.
The dinner was super nice~ love it a lot. Thanks Bb for treating me such a nice nice dinner. :D

Bb’s final exam

Hee… today Bb’s taking his last exam for his dip course. Really happy for him. After so many months of hard work, finally is reaching the destination. Could see that he’s been really tired these few months, been juggling with many things on hand..

Dance~~
Today met up with CG people and Ariel for dance. It’s been a long time since I last felt that I have exercise. We’re meeting up to start to prac for my company’s D&D performance. We decided to use those sequences that we learnt before and combined into that performance.
Today Stacy supposed to join us, but she need to go Thailand. She’ll join us next week. Hee…
Really no time to prac. Hopefully that this performance will be a good one. :D

Shopping trip with Bb at Bugis

Yesterday went to Bugis, wanted to get some present. Walk around, couldn’t find any nice pressie around. After that about 8pm Bb joins me.
Went to one of the store, retail therapy starts. We both realized that it’s been a long time since we last shopped for something for ourselves. My last shopping was before I worked in Tuas Power; shop for office wear. It’s 2months ago! Haha.. bought Bb a berm and a Tshirt. Selling price for tshirt is 15 and berms is 28. I used my techniques, managed to get a real good deal. Both total only 30 bucks. Bb quite surprised that the uncle gave me such good discount. Hee.. who ask me worked in this line before, know my ways to get a good bargain at bugis. :D
After that we went to Bugis 2nd lvl to walk around. I went there because I want to have some air-con. :D went to the perfume stall look for angela. Heard from Angela that the second batch of students signed contract with Bugis street, paying the same price as the rest of the store owners.
So third batch of entrepreneurs can’t use that store. Heard from her that their business is really good. When I got to know it I was like, ‘wow.. they have succeeded, congrats!’ but they seems to be in a not really good relation with the rest of the store owners.
After went to another store look for another auntie, her store was just opposite Chris ex store. Have a short chat with her too. Hee.. didn’t know her quite well, everytime talked about the same topic, but quite pleasant when I talk to her. :D
We had enough of air con, after that we went back to level one. We decided to get ourselves something to eat. I told Bb pui last time told me Bugis new Food Junction is really nice. Since we can’t think of what else to eat, we head to Food Junction. While walking up, we pass by a shop. Bb saw a jacket, look nice on him too. Bought that for him also. After that we pass by 77th Street, Bb bought a black velvet cap for me. :D
Bb said treat the presents as a token for our 6 months anniversary, which is this coming Monday.
I like the cap a lot, but couldn’t think of what to wear to match it yet.
We went to the 3rd floor, I was amazed. The food court looks so nice. I love the deco. A lot of stalls, don’t know what to eat, all look nice to me. Bb helps me buy food and I sit there and wait. Hee… he bought Omu Rice~! Hee… look so delirious and it taste good too~ but the price was quite ex for a food court.
Actually on wed I went takashimaya with my colleagues during lunch. Then pass by a stall selling Omu Rice, my colleague said it’s nice. I wanted to try that, but it cost $8, it’s so ex, don’t bear to buy. So nice that Bb bought the Omu Rice and he bought the one that has tomato flavour.
Yummy, I like it a lot. I personally love tomato. My mum sometimes will cook egg with tomato, I love that dish, and I can eat a lot when my mum cooks that dish.
Back to yesterday, took some pictures of the food. :D next time I am going to visit food junction again and try other food.
After the meal, Bb sent me back home. :D although the lift baddie has been caught, still feel quite afraid when walking back home. Always will be super paranoid when I’m near my house. I don’t feel afraid when Bb’s with me, so I like Bb send me home. But it’ll be tiring for him lah, need to travel longer.
Next Monday going to meet Bb to have a nice nice dinner, to celebrate 6 months officially together. :D time flies. Excited.

Fin 303 Quiz

Just completed my online quiz. I heard from my classmates yesterday that they are scoring very high for their online quiz. One told me she got 90marks, another told me she got 95. The online quiz has two sessions for us to log in and do. First session ends by tonight 12mn. I decided to rush for the first session as since so many people told me they scored quite well. I heard rumors that both sessions might have different difficulty level, so don’t want to miss the chance.
Just now was really challenging. Last few question I was answering really slow and I’m rushing before the 12mn time bar. Thank God for Jeremy’s help. I asked him quite a number of questions, some he answered and explained to me in details, some I checked my answer with him. I’m able to answer my questions faster with his help. A BIG thank you to Jeremy. :D
Just completed all my 20 questions at 11.40pm. I got 85 marks. Although cannot hit 90 like my classmates, but I’m still above average. The average score for the quiz is 84something. Phew.. Finally have a result that is above average. My last few quizzes are all below average, this quiz is really a booster for me.
I’m really drained out after the quiz, now my mind almost couldn’t function anymore. My mind need rest…

Meet him by surprise

Today lunch time, we’re waiting at the lift lobby, prepare to go down to level one. The lift door open, to my surprise, I saw my ex company engineer, Woon. We’re surprised to see each other, my colleagues went down first, so had a short chat with him.
Me, ‘you going Worley parson?’ (I know they have the company’s photocopy machine… I took north board, orchard is part of it.)
Woon (thought for a while),’ which floor is this?’
Me,’erm, 13th floor…’
Woon,’oh, wrong floor, should be 9th floor.’
Woon is so cute, went to the wrong floor. Haha.. he told me the call is alright, he’s at his third call and sim is already at his 4th.
That time I remember I told the engineers that I leave because of studies, and then I will get myself a new job once I am stabilized on my studies.
Woon,’your studies stabilized already ar?’
Me,’erm… ya, stabilized already.’ (I know that’s not the main reason I leave the previous company)
Feel quite bad that somehow I lied, because studies are not the main reason. Anyway if it is the main reason, who will be so smart to stabilize it within 2months? I think he knows that’s not my main reason.
Anyway after today, think the whole department will know that I got myself a new job. :D
