in this attachment programme.. i'm posted to Wincor-Nixdorf, Shanghai. i thank God that i've been given this opportunity to be attached to here. i really love this place. the environment is much better than i expected.
Wincor-Nixdorf, a german company, specialize in selling high quality printers, scanners, keyboards, displays, POS system, etc etc.. you must be thinking what do i mean by high quality.. hehe.. hmmm.. just give ya very simple example.. guess how much their printer cost?? 100? 200? or maybe you'll guess at most 300 rite?
one printer cost $1500 USD!
imagine.. and this is selling price, without adding tax and stuff.. haha.. so expensive sia.. their main customers are those big companies like banks..
although the things they sell doesn't appeal to me at all (too expensive for me liao la.. how to buy?? ) but when i visit the production line and the office, i felt belonged to the place. the production line is really an eye opener for me.. cause i could get to see those big machines and how big companies like them make their productions.. hehe..
the people here are very interesting.. some are very friendly, some are very helpful.. there are also some who are quite irritating at times.. hehe.. (no worries.. only a miserable few.. hehe..) i think what i love most is the time when i take the company's shuttle bus.. hehe.. it's a very fun trip.. you'll get to hear alot of things.. range from things you understand like politics to something you can't even guess like speaking shanghainese.. hehe..
it's really a good experience to work with the locals. it's really a different feeling working overseas... overall.. it's really a great exp.. love it...
