Stupid and Irritating System

These few days, the system in the company has been really ‘good’. Last week, many of the computers got serious virus attack. Thank God that my computer was not affected, so that I do not need to change the hard disk and do the entire configuration. The number of calls coming in is very high keeps picking up calls non-stop. And the speed of the system never improved.
These few days, working there is really a chore. All of us are so tired and grumpy when the day ends.
On Friday, the events are just accumulating. And really felt so tired on the inside. Listening to MP3 while travelling back to my house for cell group. While waiting for the next train at Marina Bay, really felt like crying. Felt so pressured by the clever system that this company has. On Friday, the system down for two times, and I need to go to use CSM’s laptop to do dispatching.
But what really agitated my heart is one of the calls after 1730hrs on Friday. Managed to pick up a call from customer. She said she needs urgent service right now. The engineers have already off work since 1730hrs, how to find engineers? Some more this machine, not sure whether is hardware or software issue. And earlier on, there is some commotion over this machine already. Initially she agreed that we send the HW and SW engineers for joint call the next working day. but when I picked up the calls, she said she changed her mind, she demands the engineers right away.
Already explained that the engineers do not work after 1730hrs, she still insist. What I don’t like the most is the way she said, ‘just now I spoke to your colleague, she said can get engineers today. Why now you say cannot? My MD wants to print today, you want to speak to my MD?’
I really don’t like her attitude. I was really very angry at that time. Thank God that Stacey and Cas was around. And they managed to get HW and SW engineers to go down.
Then I got one service call in my board on Saturday from the same company. I told the engineer to attend to this company first, really very scared of them after Friday’s incident.
I never got so angry over a customer before. I think is partly due to all the unhappiness the past few days. But thank God that the last three days after the weekend, the problem is not as bad. Managed to pull through these few days.
I’m already looking forward to weekend..
