Wednesday went out with my Xerox colleagues to have dinner together. We met up at orchard. Bb came too! :D
We went to a restaurant at Forum. The ambience of the place is okay, feels like hotel. Personally don’t really liked the lighting there.
We ordered a few pizzas and pasta. Overall, the ingredients there are nice, but I don’t really like the dough of the pizza. That time I still remembered when I worked pastamania, the dough that the chef made taste better than those in that restaurant.
Anyway I forgot to take pictures of it and Lin has not given me the pictures that she took on that day.
Bb and I went to visit the washroom after eating. On the way back to our seats, we pass by the counter and we saw how they produce the pizzas. We saw one cook took pizza dough and placed it on a machine. And he used that machine to squash the pizza dough, he don’t even need to roll it. But I think that the pizza will taste a lot nicer if they bothered to roll the pizza dough instead of squashing it.
Don’t think I will drop by that restaurant for another time.
After dinner, we walk all the way from forum to orchard point. Our initial plan was to go to indochine to chill out, but that place was fully occupied. We end up settled ourselves in orchard point starbucks.
It’s nice to hear all the office stories again. There will be endless stories in such a small department. Cas will be leaving Xerox soon. She’s really looking forward to it. That time Felicia and Lin said they planned to leave soon too.
Although it sounds exciting, but really worried for the colleagues that worked there for long time. They have seen so many people come and go, and they are really nice people. Serene told me that she could anticipate that the department will be seriously shorthanded after Cas and I left. Don’t know what will happen if more people decided to leave.
Remembered Cas told me leepeng need to leave soon too due to health reasons, the new girl will be taking over her board instead of leepeng. Hopefully it will be a good change. :D
