First day of Work

My first day of work was really exciting! hee..
reached office at 8.30am. sat there at the reception to wait for the HR person to come. HR person starts at 9am. so after that she showed me my table, and she introduce all the colleagues with me one by one. seriously i don't remember all the names and faces, simply too many. hai~~
anyway my work table is so much bigger than what i had in xerox. cool. sounds like an upgrade. hee...
then about 11am like that, my manager and another colleague brought me down to eat breakfast. she told me actually this is not allowed. haha... after that when we got back, she actually offered to take my big wallet for me. cause she said don't want HR to see.. haha..she really funnie lady
after that she brought me to a room to give me brief intro about the company and the overview of the industry. phew.. alot of terms need to remember.. but i think i should be able to get used to it. hee...
manager brought me for lunch. went to a thai restuarant there to eat. the food there is nice. i ordered stir fried beef, it was really tender. but i don't like the spring roll, it's feels like an oily sponge. haha...
anyway the manager look like one of my poly friend, christine. her actions, pattern, body language, style, is so like her! even sometimes her facial expression too! oh ya.. and her perception towards food and bf.. haha.. it's feels like christine 10 years later like that.
after lunch i was given some simple tasks to do. to settle some admin work using excel spreadsheet..
After that went through a few more presentations. First day nothing much to do. Was dozzing off quite a number of times. opps. they said first week is like tt de. haha..
enjoyed myself!
