Lunar New Year Day 1

Today is first day of the Lunar New Year. As usual, we no need to go any visitations. So we decided to catch a movie. Went Causeway point to watch CJ7. It was a super nice movie, was touched by the story.

After the movie, my mum wanted to go home. We literally dragged her to go town with us. Reached City Hall, decided to eat something. We went to the marketplace, came across this restaurant. Decided to go eat. Took a lot of pictures of the place and the food.

The food is nice.

This is the first time we visit this restuarant, so we took a long time to read thru the menu. (Anyway we also have alot of time to spare...)

Finally we ordered our food. Now's the waiting time. Hungry~~~

Hot chocolate~~ slurrppppp...

I still prefer mine. Banana smoothie~ :D nice..

My Food! Chicken Cajun steak w potato wedges. I love the dish. The meat is tender, wedges tasted just heavenly, warm and moist on the inside and crisp on the outside.

Mum's order. Carbonara. It's much better as compared to the restaurant that I visit frequently.

Pui's Order, Beef au Gratin. I like this dish too~ i'm a BIG cheese fan~~

Dad's order, Duck Leg Confit. The duck meat is slightly saltish, but overall I like the dish too~~

Of course not forgetting the dessert. Cheese Cake~! Dad is a fan for cheese cake. Can see that he enjoys it although he was very very full at that time.

The price was quite affordable for a restaurant setting. Overall I spent about $130 for the meal. But of course based on my financial status, I cannot afford to eat everyday.

It's a nice feeling that my family enjoyed this special treat~

Worthwhile to revisit another time.

Anyway after the late lunch, we take a stroll at the River Ang Pao. It's an annual 'ritual' that we will do. Cause we got no where else to go during Lunar New Year. Sobz.
