Orientation at Power Station

Today woke up soooooooo early in the morning, supposed to meet Ariel at 7.10am at woodlands, both of us late. Reached Jurong East at 7.50am. almost missed the shuttle bus. Phew. Beside a HR girl and us, the rest all guys.. haha.. feel funnie.
Reached station at about 8.30am. went to a room to have my picture taken and went to the admin building.
We went to a room to have talks. Different dept head share about what their dept is doing. The topics are interesting, but I was dozing off. Opps.
During lunch, we went to the canteen eat. Took picture of the food and the people I’m eating with. hee.. the food’s nice. I like the chilli, it’s sweet and not so spicy. Goes well with the food. :P slurp~
After lunch, it’s the main highlight of the day, went to have a station tour! Loved the tour man~ all those machines are HUGE! The generator, control room, etc.. woah.. I was amazed at the technology. Then towards the end of the tour, one of the station staff brought us to level 15 of the station, can have a clear view of the Tuas coast and can see Jurong Island just across the coast. I was so scared, cause they use metal flooring for all the levels. So I can see how high I’m standing. Omg.. almost can’t move my feet to walk back to the lift. It’s so scary.
The tour was really AWESOME~ loved it so much. I don’t mind have another tour again. haha..
After the tour, a few more talks and we head back to office. :D
